My Bud Casey and I went to the beach this weekend to try and catch some fish. We were somewhat successful, you can see the pics below, 1 drum and 1 trout, both caught on topwater lures ;oP . I also took another pic of the dock, at a completed state.

Nice shirt, and I like that reel too! LOL

All it is missing are a couple of chairs and cold beerse.

Mandy and I went up to NYC this past weekend for DH and Jenn's wedding and had a blast. We stayed in the Theatre District in Manhattan at The Time Hotel for a couple of nights before heading up to Mt Kiscoe, NY for the wedding. I really just need to type all of the stuff we did in this blog so that I do not forget it but here is a stab at the events of the weekend:

Thursday, arrived at LGA and took the shuttle to the hotel, got changed and then headed two blocks up, to Radio City Music Hall for the Video Music Awards (not like we had tickets, we were the geeks in the background waiting for "famous people" to come out and get in their cars).
I saw no one, b/c I had Mandy on my shoulders and I am short and it was crowded. But Mandy saw Missy Elliott, Mya, P-diddy, Jay-zee and Lebron James before my complaining got us to head back down the street. We ended up at "The View" restaurant which is the 48th floor of the Marriot for drinks...this was pretty cool, it spins 360 degrees and you get a panoramic of the entire city while you eat.

Here are a couple of pics of us in Time Square that night:

Friday, we went to Central Park for a carriage ride, ate pizza, went to too many shops (Macy's, FAO Swchartz, Fossil etc) and ate more pizza.

After walking 700 blocks, we went back to times square and bought some tix to Phantom of the Opera and did the dinner and a show thing Friday night. Dinner was great, and was right across the steet from the theater, which was a good thing : ) After the show, we made our way to The Blue Fin restaurant for some drinks and saw the biggest diamond necklace and lobsters to date.

Saturday we met up with Cory, Josh, and Ian and Jill in Chinatown and Lil' Italy for more pizza and cold beers. Big Dave and Pat showed up and took us to Mr. Wong's for some roast pork and a better view of the city(they seem like locals). We strolled down to Wallstreet and eventually to ground zero. It was a somber experience and still a little hard to believe what happened and how big those towers were. Seeing the hole in the ground put into perspective. Here are some pics from that excursion.

Oh, and Mandy got a pic with the Naked Cowboy:

Then we went to the wedding, and unfortunately the memory card on the camera was full and I only got one pic, it was of Jenn's Italian grandparents (who no speak d-english), present and married for 56 years.
