We took a trip to Charleston, SC to visit with friends and celebrate Charlotte Newkirks 1st B-day! We had a great time staying with Ashley and Chris while tormenting Kirkland (the dog).
We had our first lesson in 'sharing toys'. Kids always want what the other one has!

We have been meaning to post these for awhile...MJ got these down pat the week of Christmas, but mommy and daddy were a little slack in posting the videos.
I tried to just update the old slideshow, but it is getting too big to post on either blogger or youtube, so here is a condensed version of the newest pics:
It's a good thing Scut Farkus does not live on our street.
Because there is no way that Madison would ever be able to escape Scut or Grover Dill. Mandy wants Madison to stay warm on her commute in the mornings....uh 8 seconds from the kitchen to the heated truck, then 8 seconds from the truck to the inside of daycare. LOL...just for the record...she is wearing:

I don't even, uh can't, tighten the car seat straps.
At 9 Months old, Madison weighs 17 lbs 5 oz and is 27 inches long (she is a peanut)! She learned how to point at people, blow kisses, and walk around while holding onto things.
Despite having an ear infection, Madison had a great 1st Christmas. She spent the first part of the holiday with Nana, Poppy, and Aunt Shell in Spartanburg- where she mastered the skills of opening presents....
Check out my new ride...I took it home with me and figured out how to drive it the next day!
Then we came back to Charlotte and opened more presents from Mommy and Daddy on Christmas Eve....
......then Santa visited our house that night and left Madison more suprises! Her big gift from Santa was a kitchen playhouse.
After Madison had a chance to check out all of the gifts Santa brought her, we headed up to see Maw Maw, Paw Paw, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Tracy, Aunt Christy, Uncle Phil, Aunt Brenda, Nanny, and all my cousins to have Christmas lunch and open more gifts!
